New: In addition to custom tours to a variety of Charleston paddling destinations, this season we're offering half-day (3-4 hour) paddling experiences on the Folly River – perfect for begining paddlers – and full-day (5-6 hour) paddling adventures to some of the barrier islands along our coast. You couldn't hope for a more beautiful place to kayak; South Carolina offers beautiful coastal paddling for paddlers of all levels. Trip times will vary with registration, tides and weather.

Sea Kayak Carolina is a kayak school and provides kayak classes for paddlers of all skill levels, and our certified instructors provide guided Lowcountry trips kayaking Charleston South Carolina waterways. We are open 7-days a week, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sea Kayak Carolina is also a full service sea kayak shop serving the Charleston, South Carolina area – James Island, Folly Beach, Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island – and offering the finest sea kayaks and kayak accessories.

We carryboats from Epic Kayaks, P&H Kayaks, Impex, Nigel Dennis Kayaks, Venture and FeelFree. Our NDK boats have been deeply discounted and are available immediately. The American Canoe Association (ACA) offers skills courses and assessments to paddlers of all skill levels. The courses represent sets of skills, safety procedures and other materials deemed appropriate for particular paddling environments. Assessments by qualified trainers confirm skill levels and provide a basis for ongoing skills development. Sea Kayak Carolina is proud to offer ACA Assessments by our certified instructors.
